Tampa, FL, Feb. 01, 2017 — DAS Health™, a leading health IT and management solutions company, has made its mental health assessment tool, assessURhealth™, even more accessible to clinicians with a new online platform.
With 1 in 5 adults experiencing a mental health condition each year, the need for preventive services is undeniable. 1 in 25 adults experience a mental illness and without preventive screenings providers may be missing key health data needed to identify red flags.
With their new online platform, DAS Health puts the power of mental & behavioral assessments in more provider’s hands.
“Promoting and advancing mental and behavioral health is an important piece of holistic patient care,” said David Schlaifer, CEO of DAS Health, “we’ve used the ease of online purchasing to give more providers the ability to assess their patients’ needs – and generate new revenue at the same time.”
DAS Health’s newly launched e-commerce platform allows providers to easily purchase the assessURhealth™ application and begin using the tool quickly for patient care. The easy implementation combined with the speed of online delivery hopes to drive greater adaptation of the application and ultimately improve the mental health screening process.
“The application is user-friendly, and the clinician can pick the process up in minutes,” Schlaifer remarked, “the benefits extend not just to the patients but to the providers as well.”
Reimbursable by Medicare and most private insurances for primary care, internal medicine, OBGYN and geriatric clinicians can gain an estimated $50,000 a year in extra revenue through use of the application. The assessments cover a range of mental and behavioral health needs including depression, anxiety, alcohol misuse, opioid risk, somatic symptom, and more. Learn more at DAShealth.com/assessURhealth.
