They managed our conversation and made switching systems easy
Christopher J Grainger, MDInternal Medicine
When they discovered that their current EHR was no longer going to be updated or Meaningful Use-certified after 2013, Dr. Grainger and his office administrator Selina Moore, were at a loss. “All the time and energy to build our patient records and customize our data was suddenly meaningless,” explained Dr. Grainger, “and we were just being told we had to find a new solution, fast.”
Determined not to experience the same disappointment twice, they began to search for a new EHR partner whom they could trust to help them transition smoothly to a new system, and be there to service and support their unique needs in the long run. “We couldn’t have found DAS at a better time. They understood how frustrated we felt, and really went the extra mile to help us at each stage of our conversion.”
With DAS’ help, the practice was able to easily retrieve the data they’d spent the last few years capturing, and make the switch to the Aprima system. Adjusting to the new program was surprisingly simple and they were thrilled with how seamless their billing cycle became, helping them to avoid a loss of time or money. Dr. Grainger and Selina said the biggest difference though, was the added benefit of onsite training to guarantee the process went smoothly—and ongoing account management to guarantee they continued on track to successfully meet Meaningful Use.
“Now we have a partner we can rely on to be there to support the system, and to support us,” explained Selina. “It’s the best of both worlds.”
Dr. Grainger converted from Allscripts MyWay in 2013.
