Go Fund Me: Summer’s Fight

At DAS, we value our people like family. Recently, RCM Specialist Jessica Ay brought to our attention that her significant other’s niece, Summer, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor caused by a cancer gene called atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor, otherwise known as AT/RT.

After several operations, Summer’s initial tumor was removed. Because of the cancer gene however, Summer still has to undergo chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy in the hopes of eliminating the still existing cancer cells so that she may live a long and healthy life.

Summer’s family has set up a Go Fund Me page to help with the travel costs to and from treatment for their little girl. We at DAS Community are proud to help promote Summer’s cause and recovery.
