Michelle Jaeger is a seasoned professional with deep experience in the healthcare industry. She is the President and CEO of DAS Health, where she provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to the organization. In her current role, Michelle is instrumental in shaping the overall trajectory of DAS Health, overseeing its operations, and driving initiatives that contribute to the company’s growth and success. Her collaborative approach and strategic insights play a crucial role in fostering an effective partnership with Sheridan Capital Partners, DAS Health’s private equity partner.
Mrs. Jaeger has been an instrumental part of DAS Health since joining the company as Chief Operating Officer in 2021 and subsequently being promoted to President and CEO. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology, Jaeger has brought a wealth of knowledge to DAS Health, helping to drive organic enterprise sales, complete and integrate multiple acquisitions, and develop effective strategies that have led to increased revenue and market share. Her previous experience in various leadership roles provides her with unique expertise that will be a crucial part in continuing DAS Health’s impressive growth trajectory.
Prior to her current position, Michelle served as the Senior Vice President of Global Growth for UnitedHealthcare. During her tenure, she successfully transformed the Brazil insurance and care delivery growth agenda, surpassing membership targets and achieving the financial goals of the business. Before that, she held the role of Senior Vice President of OptumRx Client Management, leading a team of over 200 professionals and consistently exceeding growth and retention targets. In this capacity, Michelle was responsible for the strategic direction of the client management organization, focusing on the expansion of products and services. Her early career at UnitedHealthcare also included leading the product strategy for the Medicare Advantage program which consistently beat growth targets through industry leading benefits and affordable solutions.
With a career spanning almost a decade at Medco Health Solutions (now Express Scripts), Michelle held various roles, including her last position as an Executive Director. Throughout her career, she has also contributed to ancillary benefit companies and financial organizations, holding positions in general management, account management, compliance, and operations.
Eric brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at DAS Health. As CFO, Eric is responsible for directing and overseeing the development of the company’s operational and financial strategies. He creates metrics to measure the company’s performance against these strategies, ensuring ongoing monitoring and development of control systems to report accurate financial results and safeguard company assets. Additionally, Eric leads the M&A function in partnership with investors, ensuring that acquisitions and mergers align with the organization’s strategic goals. He also directs and oversees all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency in financial operations.
Eric’s journey at DAS Health began in May 2015 as the RCM Division Manager and then accelerated into the role of Director of Finance, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Finance and Admin and now our current Chief Financial Officer. Throughout his tenure at DAS Health, Eric has demonstrated his ability to lead teams toward financial health, enhanced productivity, and efficiency improvements that benefit clients.
Eric’s educational background is equally impressive, with a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Finance from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Bryant University. His deep understanding of finance, strategic planning, and leadership makes him well-equipped to drive DAS Health’s financial strategies forward, contributing significantly to the company’s continued growth and success.
Kyle is a thought leader in the MSSA industry bringing over 20 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Managed Services, PM/EHR solutions and Cloud Hosting. Kyle also brings deep experience in M&A activity having directly managed the technology integration aspects of over 20 transactions in the Healthcare Managed IT and Cybersecurity sector. Due to his deep experience in M&A activity, he is a sought-after vCIO advisor for healthcare organizations in rapid growth mode. He is skilled in guiding enterprise organizations through every phase of M&A with a repeatable and scalable process.
Prior to Joining DAS Health, Kyle served as a United State Marine and later with the National Security Agency (NSA) as a trained intelligence and cybersecurity leader. While in those roles, Kyle deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and Djibouti as well as serving stateside at the NSA Hawaii Regional Security Operations Center and US PACOM. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida, providing a deep understanding of human behavior and a unique perspective on how technology can drive better outcomes in the healthcare sector.
Kyle’s contributions to the local and broader Cybersecurity and Healthcare Technology community have been recognized in many ways. In 2017, Kyle was recognized by Florida Governor, Rick Scott for his business contributions to the greater Tampa Bay region. In 2018, he was selected to serve on the University of South Florida Cybersecurity for Executives Advisory Committee. Kyle is also a dedicated public servant with a deep commitment to serving his local community by joining organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a Kids Place and many other local initiatives.
In his personal time, Kyle enjoys all that Florida offers, with his teenage son, ranging from Fishing, Boating, Hiking, Hunting and all things that brings them closer to nature. Kyle is also an avid traveler visiting nearly 30 other Nations.
Julianne Porter guides the DAS Health account management team in delivering exceptional customer care and oversees the growth of sales and marketing initiatives to drive new client development. Julianne’s years of experience in client services lend themselves to her unique operational expertise and client knowledge – helping her team to fully assess and support each individual client with DAS’ expert level of care. Under her guidance, the teams provide immediate support and guidance to our customers for the best possible client experience.
Before becoming our CXO, Julianne served as the SVP of Business Solutions where she helped the client services and product management teams deliver the best possible client experience for our customers. Prior to that, she served as Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) with DAS Health. In her role she supervised all members of the RCM department and optimizing revenue cycle design while identifying new improvements. She was responsible for doubling department revenue and maintaining an expense ratio far exceeding industry standards, all while decreasing average days in AR and improving the actual dollars collected for DAS clients. Additional roles include serving as a Region Account Manager, Account Manager and Billing Support with DAS Health where she supported team members while managing client relationships for business success.
Julianne received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Tampa, her Graduate Certificate in Health Management and Leadership from the University of South Florida, and her MBA from Florida International University with a Specialization in Strategic Negotiations. She is a Certified Professional Coder and is an active member of the Junior League of Tampa where she has held numerous leadership positions and launched new events for the organization over the last eight years. Julianne sits on the Board of Directors as the Director of Programs for Tampa Bay Area Mothers of Multiples, a non-profit organization.
As Director of Human Resources, Emile Clifford brings an abundance of Human Resources management and employee health and welfare expertise to DAS Health. With a strong background in employee relations and healthcare recruiting, Emile will be leading a team striving to on-board and retain the best and brightest professionals the industry has to offer.
Prior to joining DAS Health, Emile spent 8 ½ years with ITelagen LLC (an acquired organization of DAS Health), managing Human Resources and special corporate projects. Early in her career, Emile was Director of Human Resources for one of Manhattan’s largest physician groups where she was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including employee health and welfare, employee relations, recruiting, HRIS, policy development, and the performance and appraisal process. She has also served on due diligence teams and has experience leading the employee transition during mergers and acquisitions.
Emile holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Siena Heights University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University – The Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time her with husband and two daughters.
David Schlaifer is the founder & Executive Chairman of DAS Health (DAS), a healthcare technology and services firm that for nearly 20 years has become a trusted advisor for nearly 2,000 healthcare clients, providing services to over 30,000 users and over 15 million patients nationwide.
David serves on the board of Gracepoint Wellness Center, a non-profit behavioral health system that provides comprehensive behavioral health care for nearly 300,000 people annually who suffer from mental illness, substance abuse, addiction or co-occurring disorders. In addition, he has actively served on committees and boards for A Kids Place and Eckerd Youth Alternatives and was a member of the Founding Board of Education Africa USA (alongside such notables as former UN Ambassador Andrew Young). He participated on a White House Advisory Board, and currently serves on several other corporate Boards of Directors. David received his Juris Doctor from IIT Chicago-Kent Law School and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
Jonathan founded Sheridan Capital Partners in 2012. He has spent his entire career working with growth-oriented companies in the lower middle market. Prior to joining Sheridan, Jonathan was at PNC Equity Partners in Pittsburgh, where he sourced, led, executed and managed private equity investments in the healthcare, consumer and specialty distribution sectors. Previously, Jonathan spent time at William Blair Capital Partners and Lake Capital in Chicago, where he focused on technology-enabled business services and niche manufacturers in various sectors. Jonathan began his career at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a Charlotte-based investment bank focused on middle-market mergers and acquisitions.
Jonathan earned a BA with honors in English, French, and philosophy from Furman University where he was a Fulbright Scholar and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was an MBA Fellow with the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship.
Chris is a Principal at Sheridan Capital Partners. Prior to joining Sheridan, Chris worked at 50 South Capital, where he led the firm’s U.S. buyout co-investment strategy. Prior to 50 South Capital, Chris worked at Pamlico Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, where he invested in the healthcare space through buyout and growth equity transactions and assisted in portfolio management. Chris began his career at McColl Partners (now Deloitte Corporate Finance), where he worked as an Analyst.
Chris earned a BSBA with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
