DAS and Aprima selected as EHR Vendor of Choice for 200+ PrimeCare Physicians

Doctors Administrative Solutions (DAS) has been selected by PrimeCare, LLC as the EHR vendor of choice for its more than 200 physicians. Initially, DAS will provide its personalized implementation of the industry‐leading Aprima™ Medical Software electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) solution to the 12 PrimeCare‐owned physician practices.

“After evaluating a number of firms, it was clear to our physicians and practice managers that DAS would provide the ease‐of‐use, logical workflow and unlimited in‐person training and support necessary to make this implementation a success,” said PrimeCare CEO Martin Revello. PrimeCare is an IPA with more than 200 affiliated primary care physicians in 19 Florida counties.

DAS works exclusively with Aprima Medical Software to implement its EHR/PM software, which holds ONC‐ATCB 2011/2012 certification as a Complete EHR*, in physician practices in West Central Florida. The company takes a partnership approach to each client, including assigning a dedicated implementation team to work with the practice to ensure that the system is personalized to each user’s workflow. This includes gaining an understanding of and customizing for each physician’s charting preferences and typical practice patterns.

DAS manages any necessary conversions and helps set up the new system so that claims can be electronically and compliantly transmitted to payers. Also provided are comprehensive on‐site training before, during and after implementation, as well as ongoing support and unlimited upgrades.
