DAS Health Begins 2017 with New Solutions and Nationwide Coverage

DAS Health Doubled in Size in 2016, Adding New Services and Extending Client Base

TAMPA, FL – (Jan. 10, 2017) – In the last year DAS Health more than doubling in size, expanding their client base by nearly 1,000 providers (over 350 new clients) and increasing their employee count by over 60 percent. The growth includes the addition of four major service lines, three acquisitions, and dramatically expands the health IT and management solution company’s ability to serve their customers.

“This year has been phenomenal for the growth of our company, with major advancements in our core service offerings,” said David Schlaifer, CEO of DAS Health. “We’ve been able to catapult our organization forward while addressing the key needs of an industry experiencing dramatic change.”

2016 acquisitions catapulted the company forward, including major acquisitions of ConXit Healthcare Technology Group, Falcon Healthcare Systems, and the Jackson Key Practice Solutions, LLC EHR business portfolio. The acquisitions added a west coast office in Las Vegas, NV and expanded or added to DAS’ solution offerings to include managed IT services, e-faxing solutions, as well as interface and conversion services. The company also added chronic care management services in a key partnership with LinkedMD, based in Tampa.

The new offerings and client base helped DAS make headlines for its continued growth, recognized as a Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50: fastest growing privately held company, its seventh consecutive year on the list and the longest streak of any company in the Tampa Bay area. DAS was also ranked among the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies in America, ranked for the fifth consecutive time and earning the #1695 spot, and was listed among the Florida Fast 100 fastest growing companies.

The company made waves in the local Tampa Bay community as well, one of three highly selective finalists for the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, Small Business of the Year award and finalist for the Tampa Bay Technology Forum Technology Company of the Year award. The DAS team was awarded individual recognition when Mallory Tai Taylor, Vice President, was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal Up & Comer and Business Woman of the Year finalist, as well as Tampa Bay Technology Forum Emerging Technology Leader finalist and Business Observer 40 Under 40 honoree.

DAS Health looks to continue expanding in 2017, leveraging their new services to better meet the needs of independent physician practices including navigating the coming changes in healthcare regulation and policy. “We’re positioned for continued success in 2017, overcoming the challenges of a changing industry with the ultimate goal of our client’s success,” David Schlaifer remarked.
