Remote Patient Monitoring
Virtual care services have become more prevalent since the pandemic. With it, Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is on the rise and paying off for patients and physicians alike. DAS Heath gives you the process, equipment, and service to provide care whenever and wherever it is needed without increasing the burden to your practice.
RPM was created to help clinicians care for their patients outside of a traditional office setting. Patients use connected devices at home (such as scales and blood pressure cuffs) that automatically upload their health data through the cellular network to their doctor. Many patients already monitor their chronic conditions, and with DAS Health, you can make sure your practice receives those accurate measurements, too.
What is Remote Patient Monitoring?
Remote Patient Monitoring enables healthcare clinicians to monitor patients’ chronic conditions outside the clinical setting. It is designed to improve healthcare outcomes, efficiency, and reduce healthcare costs. It also improves patient care and deepens the patient/clinician relationships.
DAS Health can help clinicians strengthen those relationships with, and improve the experience of, their patients by using data sent to them via RPM to develop a personalized care plan and to engage in joint decision making to foster better outcomes. RPM will also generate an additional source of revenue for your practice.

Easy Setup and Major Benefits
With easy-to-use technology, your patients automatically send you real-time monitored data. Our device technology is run on the AT&T network, meaning you don’t need to worry about internet outages or Wi-Fi setup. Our Care Team will identify eligible patients, complete accelerated enrollment, provide the appropriate equipment, assist with initial setup, and educate the patient on the benefits of the program.
- Remote Patient Monitoring is available for patients with an acute or chronic condition that would benefit from physiologic monitoring.
- RPM must provide at least 20 minutes of clinical interaction per month, per patient and requires patients to monitor their vital signs for at least 16 days out of the month.
- Patients must be established with the practice, having been seen within the last 12 months.
RPM helps improve clinical outcomes through consistent interaction and proactive identification of health concerns. It aids in the early identification of changes in the patient’s health, meaning you can address them early and keep patients out of the hospital.
Remote Patient Monitoring can help not only improve patients’ health, but it can provide financial benefits to your practice as well! The average reimbursement for services is $100 per month per patient.
52% of patients indicated that they would use a connected health device if their physician recommended it. To put that number into perspective, consider that 51% of the US population has at least one chronic condition, which means that nearly one-quarter of the population would be interested in directly sharing their chronic health data with you. That’s a lot of insights into the bigger picture of your patients’ health journey with significant revenue potential.
RPM Services and DAS Health
At DAS Health, we don’t just provide the technology for this system. Rather, we provide an out-of-the-box Remote Patient Monitoring program that allows you to enroll your patients and immediately start improving care options and increasing your reimbursements.
Your patients are already monitoring their conditions, now you can too. DAS Health will help equip your practice to keep an eye on their chronic conditions with Remote Patient Monitoring. We’ll keep it simple so you can focus on the data, not on the technology.
